Client: Texas County & District Retirement System
Overview: “Connections” is a print, magazine style publication distributed to TCDRS retirees three times a year, featuring stories, resources, and inspiration to help members stay engaged throughout retirement.
Approach: Traveled across Texas to interview and photograph TCDRS retirees, capturing their personal stories and experiences. Developed supporting illustrations and graphics, and designed the complete magazine layout from concept through final production.

Plan Options Brochure
Client: Texas County & District Retirement System
Overview: Created a printed brochure outlining the different retirement plan options available to employers considering joining TCDRS.
Approach: Designed a bifold brochure using custom graphics, icons, imagery, and clear messaging to simplify and communicate the various plan options in an accessible, easy-to-understand format.

Direct Deposit
Calendar Magnet
Client: Texas County & District Retirement System
Overview: Redesigned the annual TCDRS payment calendar magnet to not only display direct deposit payment dates, but also provide retirees with useful and engaging information throughout the year. The project also included developing a new ordering process with vendors to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
Approach: Designed a tear-away calendar featuring payment dates alongside TCDRS reminders, Texas activities, recipes, and other retirement-focused content. Worked with vendors to establish an online ordering system that streamlined the production and distribution process.

Outcome: Delivered a refreshed calendar magnet that provided greater long-term value to retirees while streamlining the ordering process and reducing production costs by more than $60,000.
Animated Newsletter Gif
Client: Texas County & District Retirement System
Overview: Created an animated GIF for a game-themed newsletter distributed to current TCDRS members, using a playful visual concept to make retirement information more engaging and approachable.
Approach: Designed a retro video game-inspired animation featuring original characters and visuals that guide viewers through the different stages of their working life leading up to retirement. The animation was designed to complement the newsletter's game theme while reinforcing key TCDRS messaging.
