USAA - Pay As You Drive
As a Graphic Designer at USAA, I assisted in the rebranding of the newly acquisitioned Noblr product. Now named Pay As You Drive; I was tasked with various projects including a make-over of the PAYD website, creating social media ad designs, marketing emails and print material. Here are a few of the projects I’ve worked on.
Marketing Email
Overview: Create an email graphic to clarify that “PAY AS YOU DRIVE” (PAYD) is an app-based insurance product that calculates rates based on mileage
Approach: Designed a minimalistic, visually engaging email using clear imagery and concise copy to communicate that PAYD requires the mobile app for tracking mileage and determining monthly rates
Tools: Photoshop, Wordpress
Outcome: Reduced early cancellations and incoming support calls by clearly communicating the app-based nature of PAYD, improving customer understanding and engagement
Social Ad Resizing
Overview: Adapt existing advertisements to meet the dimension requirements of multiple digital advertising platforms and increase brand reach
Approach: Redesigned each ad in various sizes and formats to ensure compatibility across platforms while maintaining brand consistency and visual quality
Tools: Photoshop, Illustrator
Outcome: Delivered a versatile set of ads used across multiple platforms, improving brand visibility and awareness among target audiences
Website Rebrand
Overview: Update the Noblr website to align with USAA’s brand guidelines following the acquisition, ensuring consistency in colors, imagery, and overall design
Approach: Redesigned website pages by adjusting the color palette, replacing images, and updating visual elements to match USAA branding standards while maintaining user experience
Software Used: Illustrator, WordPress
Outcome: Delivered a cohesive, brand-aligned website that improved visual consistency and strengthened the integration of Noblr into USAA’s digital ecosystem
PAYD Standing Banner
Overview: Design a physical banner to promote awareness of the new PAYD insurance product to employees and encourage website visits for quotes
Approach: Created a 6-ft standing banner with a clean, minimalistic design incorporating PAYD branding and the website. Later revised the design to include a QR code for easier access
Tools: Photoshop
Outcome: Increased employee awareness of the PAYD product and improved engagement with the website through the added QR code
